Sleeping through the night...HA!
That used to be the question EVERYONE would ask me after Corbin was born. I would smile and say, "almost," or "he's getting there." Well, now he's 4 months old and we're still "getting there." I have stopped smiling about this. I am trying to think positively and hope that we'll get to that sleep breakthrough soon. Like tonight. (day 1) No, maybe it'll be tonight. (day 13) It just has to be tonight. (day 27) Well, last night was the worst night we've had in a long time. I think we're moving backwards instead of forwards. I hear all of these stories from people who just brag about how their kids slept 12 hours straight. Seriously?! Corbin wakes up now every 4 - 4.5 hours and he's STARVING. Last night it was 1.5 - 2.5 hours and he was starving. Now he's napping and he's an angel. If only he was this great at sleeping at 3 in the morning. I'll just keep hope alive that we're making strides towards a full night of sleep. Maybe it'll be tonight.
